Sacmi High Pressure Casting Technology in Turkey

The Turkish group Vitra Eczacibasi, which yearly produces nearly 6 million sanitaryware articles at its Bozüyük plant, has decided to go for Sacmi/IT high pressure casting technology for single-mould WC bowls. The choice fell on two AVM150 machines. In 2010 the Vitra Eczacibasi Group’s Building Products division generated sales out of which 70 % was accounted for by exports to high-end markets such as the EU, UK and USA and emerging markets such as Russia and the Middle East (10/2011).
