Wienerberger Inaugurates New Plant in France

The Austrian Group Wienerberger inaugurated a new plant for the production of clay bricks in Durtal/FR.

The automatic handling was supplied by the Italian machinery specialist Marcheluzzo Impianti. The engagement of Marcheluzzo covers the automatic handling line from the extruding mouth, specifically: setting and off-setting of drying frames, storing, automatic handling and storing of empty dryer cars, kiln car setting machine, handling line for the kiln cars, off-loading of fired cars with consequent packaging line up to the finished pallets. The whole process is engineered for performing top quality standard of production, thus handling the great number of different products of which a great part is rectified. The good collaboration between the Group and the Italian company resulted in a new order for Marcheluzzo for the plant to be constructed in Terni/IT.
