Capaccioli is a leading supplier of machinery and complete plants for the heavy clay industry.
The core business of the company is the development and manufacturing of turnkey plants and machinery for the production of bricks, hollow bricks, thermal blocks, roof tiles, ceiling blocks, etc. The full range of Capaccioli product manufacturing include clay preparation lines, extrusion and cutting lines, dryers, kilns and all types of burners, together with automation and material handling systems. Since the beginning the mission of the company was: design, develop and create technological, innovative and customized solutions for the brick&tile manufacturing industry, focusing on the continuous improvement of quality, safety, energy efficiency and environmentally friendly production. In the ’90s, Capaccioli has studied the soft mud technology, an old method of forming bricks by adding water to the clay and then pressing the obtained mud into a mould box.
After several years of research, Capaccioli has developed and perfected its own patented technology called EASYMUD, which is characterized by high and fully automated production of simulated hand-moulded bricks. EASYMUD technology is a complete automatic system to produce floor tiles, face covering bricks, tiles and special pieces in soft mud with the “handmade” characteristic, using several surface finishing such as sand and hand smooth treatment. The EASYMUD technology is not the only big success of Capaccioli. The new dryer is the last step towards innovation that distinguishes Capaccioli company for the past 60 years, and recently it has obtained the grant of Industrial Invention Patent.
In 2016, the company has successfully completed the construction in Turkey of 3 Condor® each for 750ton/day for hollow blocks and load bearing blocks. There are also other Condor® units already under construction in other countries. The new design, with original technical solutions, have allowed extraordinary results: ultra-fast drying cycle, high product quality and specific energy consumption very low 8-10kwh/ton. Recently the company has supplied several machinery and complete plants around the World, such as Turkey, Libya and North Africa.
