Today HANS LINGL ANLAGENBAU & VERFAHRENSTECHNIK GMBH & CO. KG is the biggest, independent and privately-run supplier of machinery and equipment for the ceramic building materials industry, including turnkey plants for the production of bricks, roof tiles, split tiles, stoneware pipes and refractory products with a highly-developed know how. LINGL stands out for trend-setting innovation activities, reliability and high-quality workmanship.
Founded in 1938 by Hans Lingl sr., today the family-owned company is run by the third generation, namely by Mr. Frank Appel and Mr. Andreas Lingl. The group of companies employs 650 people all over the world.
LINGL has specialised in the complete value chain of heavy-clay production, i.e. cutting, drying, setting, firing, unloading and packaging. From innovative individual components up to computer-controlled complete plant projects the company nowadays covers the full range of competence in the heavy clay industry. The tradition as a German supplier of plants makes LINGL feel obliged to bring constancy in line with innovation towards its customers.
When producing building materials it is more and more important to apply energy-saving processes. As a pioneer LINGL has defined many procedural principles and processes in the heavy clay industry and developed them to be ready for marketing. The implementation of this knowledge by a systematic application of the latest technologies guarantees energy-saving and environmentally sound production methods. This is enabled particularly by drying and firing processes which are exactly controlled as well as by so-called regenerative exhaust air cleaning systems and automatic handling and transport procedures.
