Haver & Boecker and Hosokawa Alpine Create NEXOPART
As of April, the joint venture company NEXOPART manages all laboratory-relevant products of Haver & Boecker/DE and Hosokawa Alpine/DE under one roof. NEXOPART has been created with 50 % each from the two renowned parent companies. On 1 April 2023, the NEXOPART brand was officially be introduced to the market as a manufacturer of premium products in the field of particle analysis.
Andreas Denker New CEO at NETZSCH Pumpen & Systeme GmbH
Andreas Denker became a further CEO of NETZSCH Pumpen & Systeme GmbH in Waldkraiburg/DE on 01.04.2023. Together with the current CEO Felix Kleinert, there was a transition phase until mid-May, after which Andreas Denker took over the management of the global Pumps & Systems Business Unit.
Zschimmer & Schwarz Successfully Completed the Management Change
As already announced in June 2022, Dr Christoph Riemer has assumed the role of Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Zschimmer & Schwarz Group/DE as of 1 January 2023. Together with Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Dietmar Clausen and Chief Operating Officer (COO) Dr Felix Grimm, he will determine the future course of the globally operating company group for a successful business development. Zschimmer & Schwarz has thus successfully completed the change of its top management.
Nutec Group Announced Change of CEO
Nutec Group/MX has announced effective 1 February 2023, Genaro F. Cueva stepped down from the position of CEO, remaining in his position as Chairman of the Board. He was replaced as CEO by Daniel Llaguno, currently President, Nutec Fibers Division. This transition had been announced internally back in September 2022.
LIFE HYPOBRICK Project for Sustainable Bricks
The LIFE HYPOBRICK Project, financed by the European Commission through the LIFE Programme has almost come to its end with the construction of a wall of sustainable bricks in line with the circular economy and climate action, as they have been obtained from waste and applying technologies that avoid the high energy consumption of industries such as the brick manufacturing, and also saving harmful emissions.
BAM and University of Birmingham Extend Cooperation
The German Bundesanstalt für Materialforschung und -prüfung (BAM) and the University of Birmingham/GB have extended their cooperation agreement for three years. They want to continue to work closely together and use synergies of both research institutions to strengthen cross-thematic research activities in materials science and engineering – from green chemistry, functional materials and hydrogen to additive manufacturing.
