Tecnargilla Postponed to 2021
Tecnargilla, the world’s most important exhibition of supplies to the surface coverings industry, has been postponed until 2021. The decision was taken by ACIMAC – Italian Ceramic Machinery and Equipment Manufacturers’ Association and IEG – Italian Exhibition Group with the aim of ensuring that the event can be held in the best possible conditions.

POWTECH Special Edition 2020 Cancelled – New Date for 2022
In May 2020, Nürnberg Messe/DE conducted an extensive survey of exhibitors and visitors to find out what they thought about POWTECH taking place in 2020. A promising number of customers had expressed their support for holding the event under adapted conditions. Then the concept of the POWTECH Special Edition was established in a very short time and launched on the market. The aim was to win 250–300 exhibitors for the concept. This met with recognition and approval from you and from partners.
Ceram UK Postponed from July to December 2020
Due to the ongoing and developing situation regarding COVID-19, Event Partners/GB, the show organisers, have made already in May 2020 the decision to move The Advanced Materials Show and Ceramics UK and their co-located events Battery Cells and Systems Expo and Vehicle Electrification Expo from July to 2–3 December 2020.

ACIMAC Elected New Management
ACIMAC – the Italian Ceramic Machinery and Equipment Manufacturers’ Association, elected during its Annual Members’ Meeting in July a new management. New Chairman of ACIMAC is SACMI Chairman Paolo Mongardi, who will passed the baton to Paolo Lamberti in two years’ time as part of an alternating chairmanship that reflects the interests of both small and large member companies. ACIMAC’s outgoing Chairman was Paolo Sassi, Chairman of BMR.

CERSAIE 2020 Cancelled
Despite their best efforts in recent weeks, the organisers of CERSAIE announced the cancellation of the 2020 show and the date of next year’s event, which will be held in Bologna from 27 September – 1 October 2021.

Messe München Celebrates Record Year of 2019
Messe München/DE closed the year 2019 with a new record sales volume of EUR 474,2 million. The EBITDA amounts to EUR 138,4 million. Klaus Dittrich, Chairman and CEO of Messe München, took a thoroughly positive look back at the year gone by: “2019 was the most successful financial year in the history of Messe München. The coronavirus pandemic shows how vulnerable the global economy is despite record results. As a company, we must therefore continue to develop innovative formats in order to stay competitive in future too.”
