Seminar on Micro-machining of Sintered Ceramics in November

Technical ceramics are among the most challenging materials in precision machining – extremely hard, brittle, and with exceptional material properties. But this is precisely where the latest generation of ZECHA tools opens up completely new possibilities. To bring these innovations to life, ZECHA, together with leading partners in the industry, is hosting a specialist seminar in Höhr-Grenzhausen/DE on November 26, 2025. The focus will be on the current challenges in the micro-machining of sintered ceramics and ways to overcome them with modern tool technology, precise programming, and innovative machine technology. Specialist presentations by renowned experts will shed light on topics such as:

  • Material properties and behaviour of technical ceramics
  • Selection and use of optimal tool types
  • Programming strategies for maximum precision
  • Influence of state-of-the-art machine technology on the machining result

Video demonstrations present results – surface roughness Ra in the nanometre range, shape deviations in the submicrometre range, flatness in the µm range, and edge chipping in the micrometre range. These measurement results illustrate the precision that can be achieved today in the machining of sintered ceramics. The seminar is aimed at users, developers, and decision-makers who want to expand their manufacturing expertise in the field of high-precision machining. Take advantage of this opportunity to gain first-hand expert knowledge, exchange ideas with industry colleagues, and take a look at the future of micro-machining. The number of participants is limited.

Please note: The seminar will be held in German.
