Changes in the NETZSCH Group Management

The Chairman of Erich NETZSCH GmbH & Co. Holding KG/DE, Dr Otto Max Schaefer, resigned as Chairman as of 31 December 2012 on his own request and on the very best terms.
Dr Schaefer has led the NETZSCH Group with great success as a Managing Director and President since 2004 and as the company’s Chairman since 2010. Thereby, he has made a decisive contribution to the positive business development of the globally active technology company. Drawing on his extensive experience, Dr Schaefer was particularly responsible for the successfully implemented restructuring program of the Group, the strategic development and the M&A transactions. Dr Schaefer played a decisive role in the development of the company strategy, setting clear growth targets for the coming years and making the corresponding personnel decisions. Dr Schaefer remains connected to the company as a shareholder. Dietmar Bolkart was appointed as new Chairman of Erich NETZSCH GmbH & Co. Holding KG. The 58-year-old began his mandate on 1 January 2013, and heads the company together with
Dr Hanns-Peter Ohl, Member of the Executive Board with equal rights. The NETZSCH Group has succeeded in boosting its turnover from EUR 266 million to almost EUR 400 million over the last two years, with all regions and all three business units of the company contributing to this development. The implementation of this growth strategy has already begun with an investment fund of EUR 45 million earmarked for 2012 alone – three times the previous highest annual investment volume. The Group’s business units Analyzing & Testing, Grinding & Dispersing and Pumps & Systems provide custom solutions of the highest quality. The Group employs around 2700 employees at 140 sales and production centers in 27 countries. (12/2012)
