Double ISO Certification for Keller HCW

Quality and innovation – two words firmly associated with KELLER HCW GmbH and by now a fundamental element within the company.

These concepts and altogether important characteristics of KELLER HCW were now confirmed by a successful certification awarded by TÜV Nord/DE. For two management systems at a time the company with headquarters in Ibbenbüren-Lag-genbeck was granted the universally well-known seals of approval, one for the ISO 9001 certification and the other for the ISO 14001 certification. Last year, the go-ahead was given for the introduction of an integrated management system, consisting of a quality management system and an environmental management system. All processes in all departments were documented for this purpose, unnecessary processes were disposed of and many small and also big improvements were introduced. The international ISO 9001 standard documents that, with the introduction of its quality management system, all workflows at KELLER HCW from inquiries to final erection on site are subject to constant control and therefore continuous development and improvement. The second important topic concerned environmental aspects and was defined and evaluated in an extensive environmental management system according to ISO 14001. The process development even went beyond many points listed in the requirements of the international standards. With the objective of continuous improvement, the processes will be reviewed in “audits” and “reviews” at regular intervals. Already since 1996, the business unit MSR (Measuring and Controlling) has been a pioneer in convincing its customers with an effective quality management system. This effectiveness was again demonstrated with this year’s recertification. Keller MSR presents also its certification according to ISO 14001, the environmental management system, which was granted at the same time. “With its certification KELLER HCW is committed to a clear strategy to organise its processes and workflow in a transparent way for its employees. A first step into this direction was made. We now have to improve and optimise the processes, and we also have to bring forward the adoption of the defined processes at the other sites of the Keller division”, said Dr Jochen Nippel, Managing Director of KELLER HCW.
