EPMA Launches Updated Powder Metallurgy Case Study Booklet

A revised booklet containing a selection of Powder Metallurgy Component Case Studies has been launched by the European Powder Metallurgy Association (EPMA).

This free, easy to read, 20-page booklet contains recent case studies on a range of component parts made using the Powder Metallurgy process and the advantages it provides. The Case Studies booklet focuses on 4 distinct areas that benefit from using Powder Metallurgy (PM), Improved Performance, Increased Complexity of Component Produced, Cost Saving and Weight Saving. The case studies cover a wide range of applications and industry sectors, from very small medical devices through to automotive components to luxury consumer goods mechanisms. All of these help to showcase the diversity and ingenuity of components that can be made using PM. The booklet is a really good starting point for end users and potential users of PM parts. The booklet is available in either hard copy or digital (PDF) formats. Further information is available at: www.epma.com (8/2011).
