NOVOKERAM Stages 2nd Symposium for Sanitaryware Manufacturers in China
After a successful 1st symposium held by NOVOKERAM in Chaozhou, the German company returned back for the 2nd Symposium from 24 – 25 March 2012.
It took place at the conference hall of the Chaozhou Ceramics Industry Association, whose General Secretary, Zhang Jin Hua, was very pleased to see NOVOKERAM’s attendance again. The Symposium was generously hosted by the officials of the Association, finally crowned by a large banquet sponsored by NOVOKERAM. Chaozhou, a 2,5 million citizen city in the Guangdong Province in the Southeast of China is one of the main capitals of the Chinese sanitaryware industry, with actual 886 registered manufacturers, under them such famous names like Dolo, Hegii, Taitao, Sitong, Donsan, and Jesaa, just to name a few of them. While the actual production process is of very high standard in terms of quality of the finished product, quickly rising energy and labour cost force the manufacturers to invest in more advanced production technology. NOVOKERAM’s industrial dryers contribute to this goal due to a dramatic reduction of drying time, decrease of rejects and huge energy savings when the heat is taken from the sanitaryware kilns. To cover these topics was the main focus of the Symposium which was well received by over 100 interested participants of the above mentioned manufacturers. Talks about the theory and best practice of sanitaryware drying, as well as presentations of executed dryers in the sanitaryware industry gave a detailed insight into the work and the results achieved by NOVOKERAM in the sanitaryware industry. Finally, this 2nd Symposium sets well the base for a fruitful partnership between NOVOKERAM and Chaozhou’s sanitaryware industry.
