Sigmund Lindner Develops Production Base
The German Sigmund Lindner GmbH (SiLi) is making a clear commitment to its base in Upper Franconia.
At its headquarters in Warmensteinach, the family-run company has invested around EUR 5 million in a new plant and celebrated the topping-out of a new production facility in Warmensteinach. The building shells were erected on schedule, the building owner and the companies involved in the build are equally proud of the impressive structure at the entrance to the town. This hall will be used in future for the entire glitter production and for storage and logistics for the two glitter product lines SiLiglit and SiLiglam. With the new building complex, not only an innovative logistics concept was realized but also another GMP production area for cosmetic glitter created. In the integrated laboratory area, besides application tests, colour matching can be performed according to individual customer requirements. With this newbuild, new space has been made for the planned production expansion of SiLibeads ceramic beads. The new plant was completed on schedule by the end of 2013.
