Inmatec Technologies GmbH

Hall A6.323B

For more than 25 years, INMATEC Technologies GmbH has stood for innovation, precision, and progress in ceramic feedstock development. With decades of experience, deep material expertise, and continuous research, we create solutions that push technological boundaries and open up new fields of application. INMATEC combines the unique material properties of ceramics with the advantages of injection moulding.

The ceramic feedstocks developed and produced in-house enable the shaping of complex components made from high-performance materials with demanding geometries. In addition, INMATEC offers comprehensive consulting services along the entire CIM process chain – from the initial idea through to serial production.
To meet the increasing demands of modern high-tech industries, we are developing innovative ceramic feedstocks that open up new application possibilities and push existing technological boundaries. Our latest material systems provide targeted functional properties – from electrical conductivity to hydrothermal resistance and transparent technical ceramics.

SiMoMix – Si3N4/MoSi2 Composite
SiMoMix combines electrical conductivity, high thermal conductivity, and temperature resistance up to approx. 1350 °C. Its low density (≈ 4,2 g/cm³) and high flexural strength (>650 MPa) make it ideal for demanding components, such as those used in medical technology or precise metal-laser processing.

ATZ – Alumina Toughened Zirconia
ATZ brings together the hardness of alumina and the toughness of zirconia, making it an excellent choice for demanding applications where high mechanical strength and temperature stability are required. In addition, the material exhibits outstanding hydrothermal resistance, enabling reliable performance in environments exposed to hot steam and hot water – for example in medical technology or in technical cleaning and processing systems.

High-Purity Al2O3 (99.99 %)
With mechanical strengths of up to 800 MPa and the ability to sinter to translucency (<1 mm wall thickness) in air, this material is ideal for components requiring optical performance. Colour variants and polishable surfaces further expand its potential for technical, medical, and decorative applications. These developments reinforce our mission to actively shape the future of advanced ceramic materials through high-performance, reliable, and innovative feedstock solutions. The ceramitec exhibition offers an excellent opportunity to further strengthen existing partnerships and engage in direct exchange on new applications and developments. At the same time, we look forward to meeting new players in the ceramics industry and welcoming future partners into our network.
