Institute of Applied Construction Weimar gGmbH with Recycling Test Centre for Higher Resource Efficiency in Construction

On 8 August 2018, the foundation stone was laid for the Recycling Facility at the IAM Institute of AppliedvConstruction Weimar gGmbH/DE. Institute Director Dr-Ing. Ulrich Palzer welcomed numerous guests and a large number of the now 110 employees for the 4th time to such an occasion since 2010 when the
foundation stone for the first test centre was laid. In 2013 followed the new laboratory building and then in 2017 Test Centre 2. With the recycling facility follows Test Centre 3 over an area of 850 m2. The planned plant engineering in the form of pilot plants constitutes the unique feature of the Technology Competence Centre for Resource Efficiency in Construction at the IAB.
