SACMI Sanitaryware & Tableware @ Ceramitec2026

The SACMI network of sanitaryware and tableware companies – SAMA, Riedhammer, Gaiotto, SACMI Imola – is again set to play a key role at Ceramitec 2026 (Messe München, 24-26 March) with a comprehensive range of technologies and services designed to meet every need.

With Lippert, the technological offering for sanitaryware and tableware expands further

One of the highlights of 2025 was the completion of the range that resulted from Lippert joining the SACMI family. Merging this German company’s technical ability, experience and reputation into SAMA offered an opportunity to expand the technology available to the tableware sector, with new high-level projects for both European and global markets.

More specifically, Lippert technologies have bolstered the portfolio with cutting-edge solutions for the pressure casting of hollow items such as cups, with high-productivity systems letting manufacturers make body and handle in a single process. These machines also integrate automatic finishing systems and product handling robots, enabling automation of downstream processes.

The addition of these technologies broadens SAMA’s successful range of machines and lines, further expanding the SACMI-SAMA offering with expertise in production flow automation, storage and robot handling systems.

Ceramic insulator manufacturing technologies for electrical applications

Against an international backdrop of growing investment in energy generation-distribution infrastructure, the production of ceramic insulators for electrical applications is back in the spotlight.

Here, the SACMI Group can count on a wealth of in-depth expertise thanks to technology developed by Netzsch and continuously upgraded by SAMA: designed to produce solid and hollow insulators, for both medium and high voltages, these solutions offer an effective response to new demands from the energy market.

Riedhammer: towards a zero-emissions factory

The world-leading designer of kilns for sanitaryware, tableware and technical ceramics, Riedhammer will be at Ceramitec with a full range of high-efficiency kilns with low CO₂ emissions. With Riedhammer, rethinking thermal processes to obtain a zero-emissions factory is not just achievable: it’s already a reality, thanks to a range of digital hydrogen-ready kilns and a new 100% electric roller kiln.

Automation and robotic finishing

At every stage of production – casting, glazing, finishing – robots play an increasingly crucial role on SACMI sanitaryware and tableware lines. With the latest ‘in series’ robots, controlled by a single software program, white finishing is one of the cornerstones of the range provided by Gaiotto, confirming its leading role in the transition to a clean, fully automated factory.

DishWatcher™ by SACMI: simple, automatic, configurable

At Ceramitec, SACMI will be previewing DishWatcher™, the inspection system for automatic quality control of tableware. This system takes SACMI’s vast experience in developing vision systems and extends it to the tableware sector. The outcome: ease of use, automated quality control and extensive configurability, all in a single solution.

DishWatcher™ has outstanding versatility and a small footprint. Quality control is objective and data can be logged. All defect thresholds can be set directly on the recipe, ensuring fast set-ups and extensive customization options, also on existing layouts.Visit the SACMI stand at the Ceramitec fair in Munich, Messe München, 24-26 March 2026, stand 301/402A.
