Carbon Fiber Production Line for Precursor Fibers Processing

Linn High Therm/DE, leading manufacturer of industrial and lab furnaces since 1969, presents its new carbon fiber pilot line consisting of oxidation furnace (stabilization), carbonization furnace and graphitization furnace.
The 4-zone oxidation furnace FKU-4-200×200/2000/325 can be operated up to maximum 325 °C for stabilization of precursor fibers with a connected 2 step system for carbonization and graphitization. The FKU furnace has 4 channels with inner dimensions of approximately 200 mm x 200 mm, length of approximately 2000 mm. The heated length is approximately 8000 mm, the heating power approximately 15 kW. The carbonization furnace FRHT-4-100×60/2000/1050 can be operated up to maximum 1100 °C and has an insert tube 1.4841 with an inner diameter of approximately 100 mm, and a length of approximately 2000 mm. The heated length has approximately 2000 mm, the heating power approximately 20 kW. The furnace can be used with a manual-operated gas feeding device for N2/Ar. The graphitization furnace GRH-4-100/2000/1600-1800 can be operated up to maximum 1650 °C and has an insert tube CFC with a inner diameter of approximately 100 mm, and a length of approximately 2000 mm. The heated length has approximately 2000 mm, the heating power approximately 160 kW. The furnace can optionally be used with a manual-operated gas feeding device for N2/Ar and at temperatures up to maximum 2100 °C. (1/2013)
