Imerys Ceramics India showcased its innovative product range for tiles, sanitaryware, tableware, electrical porcelain and glass industries, for which it was awarded a prize, at the second edition of Ceraglass in Jaipur, 15–18 December 2012.

During Ceraglass a series of conferences took place on topical issues. Cedric Poilly, Glaze and Engobe Product Development Manager, based at Imerys Ceramic Centre in Limoges/FR, gave a technical presentation on the importance of kaolin in glaze formulation for digital printing. The stand featured Imerys Ceramics India operations and its range of mineral solutions for ceramic industries. On display were china clay products, like Kaolinor 1C, Kerbrient, Imerys CR, references  appreciated by tile industries worldwide  to obtain the best ever surface for digital printing. These kaolins, suitable for GVT, wall and floor tiles, give a defect free smooth surface. As demand for more and more whiter minerals for engobe and glazes, Imerys Ceramics has developed innovative solutions: Zirex-T, a partly substitute of zircon and RE399, a white firing ball clay. For sanitaryware industries, Imerys Ceramics India has introduced ball clays and china clays that increase casting rate, surface whiteness and reduce production rejection at substantial levels. For electrical porcelain industries, Imerys Ceramics presented special blended clays for LT & MT segments from its Nadiad Gujarat R & D Center.  Imerys Ceramics is the leader in HT Segment. This innovation will also benefit  SW Asia industries. For tableware industries,  Imerys Ceramics  showed its Premium china clay which is the highest white clay in the world providing higher translucency. All major players appreciated these innovations as these clays will now be available from its Nadiad Platform.
