KELLER’s Debut at Automatica

From 2 to 6 June KELLER introduced its robotics and automation solutions to a wide audience at Automatica in Munich/DE.

Being one of 18 partners of the renowned robot manufacturer FANUC, KELLER with its new servo-driven gripper system was one of the attractions in the Yellow Arena, the FANUC stand resembling a full size soccer stadium that gave visitors an advance World Cup ambiance. KELLER has meanwhile more than 500 robot installations in the heavy clay industry but outside of this industry the company is, however, still relatively unknown. On top of this, most applications it implemented are subject to confidentiality in other industrial sectors. Therefore, for Automatica KELLER  showed with a special interbranch robot demonstration its competence in all fields of industrial applications. Sales Manager U. Hagemann rated the participation a resounding success: “Contrary to CERAMITEC, Automatica is less frequented by top managers but by engineers and technicians specifically looking for solutions to be employed in their companies. Our robot demonstration was met with great interest among the specialists and we made a lot of new contacts.” J. Schröter, head of the KELLER Electrical Engineering, Automation and Process Technology department, shared this view and adds what he experienced in Munich: “Many times the technical questions the experts asked us went beyond the scope we know from fairs for the heavy clay industry. This often made it even easier for us to convince our visitors”, and adds that many prospective customers were also very impressed by the comprehensive control concepts presented by KELLER.
