KOMAGE Gellner Maschinenfabrik KG is a German producer of powder compacting systems founded in 1908. Starting with the production of tablets in the early days, the company has accumulated a large know-how in powder compacting over the last decades. KOMAGE builds standard and custom designed powder presses and automation. Know how in powder filling – Technikum
KOMAGE is renowned for developing tailor-made powder loading systems capable of handling even the most challenging materials. At its facility in Kell am See, Germany, the company operates its own technical center, the “Technikum”, where pressing and powder-filling specialists work to identify the optimal production approach for a wide range of powders. The adaptable press design and versatile control system make it easy to integrate both existing customer tooling and new tooling engineered by KOMAGE to meet specific requirements. In close collaboration with the customer, KOMAGE uses the Technikum to define the ideal filling strategy and pressing parameters, ensuring a solution precisely aligned with the application’s needs.
