Qualicer 2016 Call for Papers has been opened. Oral communications and posters will be accepted for debate. These will be grouped for presentation and publication in three blocks, those studies being highlighted that investigate in depth a particular subject in one of the blocks or that address the interrelationships and synergies between them as follows:

• Block A: Ceramic enterprise and markets
• Block B: Ceramic tile and construction
• Block C: Ceramic tile manufacture.
Deadlines for submission of communications are: for summaries 31 May 2015 (about 500 words long); for complete works 27 September 2015. The papers and posters selected by the Qualicer Technical Committee will be presented by their authors during the meeting, and will be published and handed out to attendees at the beginning of the congress. The authors authorise Qualicer to publish and to reproduce the submitted works. In addition to oral presentations and posters, Qualicer also schedules invited lectures and panel debates of the greatest interest. The congress is already working out the details. Block A will include a panel debate on the Globalisation of Ceramic Quality. The already confirmed panel members are Zeynep Bodur Okyay, Kale Group President and CEO; John Turner Jr., Dal-Tile President; Vittorio Borelli, Fincibec CEO and Chairman of Cofindustria Ceramica; and Fernando Roig, Chairman of the Pamesa Group. The panel debate will be chaired by José Monzonís Salvia, Secretary of Industry of the Valencia Region. Block B will include a panel debate on Ceramic Tile and Construction. The first confirmed panel member is Svend Hovmand, Chairman of ISO Technical Committee ISO TC 189 and Chairman Emeritus at Crossville. The panel debate will be chaired by Bart Bettiga, Executive Director of the National Tile Contractors’ Association. Block C will feature an invited lecture on ceramic tile manufacture and a day devoted to digital decoration, presented by Vicente Sanz, Director of the Instituto Universitario de Tecnología Cerámica. It will include a panel debate, Materials and Printheads, with panel members from top companies, chaired by José Cabedo, Chief Operating Officer Surface Products, Endeka Ceramics. There will also be a panel debate, Machines and Tile Manufacturers, confirmed panel members being José Vicente Tomás, Kerajet Chairman, and Máximo Dolz, Technical Director of Grespania. A further panel debate with top technology executives who work in an international context to discuss their professional experience will take place. This panel will be chaired by Juan Carlos Marín Gonell, Senior Manager for Sales and Applied Technology at FERRO South East Asia. Further information at:
